"It’s our first time here and we came for their steak night. Absolutely amazing 250g Angus sirloin! What a great value and so delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. Kudos to the chef! And every server was so nice and attentive. I would definitely come back again."

The food is consistently excellent, fresh, well-thought-out dishes with generous portions and great flavours. The coffee is top-notch, and the drinks menu is equally impressive. What really stands out is the friendly, attentive service that makes you feel looked after without being overbearing. It’s also a great place to head before an event at Eden Park, with a convenient location and a lively pre-event buzz. A real local gem on New North Road and well worth a visit."

Our table was reserved, food was excellent, she was attentive to drinks making sure we had everything we needed. The venue was everything you see in the pics! Great location for pre drinks and dinner before any concert. Brittany, you made our night!"

"At Citizens Park for a work function and it has greatly improved since I was last there. Service excellent- particularly considering the large number of meals to coordinate for our group. Food wise we chose a lot from the menu. Popular dishes were the steak, burgers and brisket nachos. The chicken nachos weren’t as good. I chose the chicken tacos and they were delicious! Drinks wise a good variety including some special cocktail options."

"Nice garden courtyard setting with pub food. The food is tasty and good for pub food, servings are good size=would satisfy a man. The chicken pot pie was yummy, flaky pastry lid with creamy juicy thigh ir leg meat . Also has nachos, tasty as well. It's a nice casual pub near my work, ideal for work /business lunch"

"I attend quiz nights here on Tuesdays. The food servings are generous, and the service prompt and friendly. It's spacious, well heated in the cooler months, and cool in the summer. The music can be quite loud at times though."

The new lighting in the place has really brightened it up. Friendly hospital staff, filling tasty menu options and great to see a diverse range of patrons.
